Student Teaching Supervisor 

Job Summary
Supervise graduate-level business education teacher candidates during their student teaching. Travel to schools to observe and mentor teacher candidates. Give substantial oral and written feedback to teacher candidates with the goal of improving their teaching and other classroom skills. Act as a representative and liaison between the school and Bethel University. Must have day-time availability to drive to schools. 

Three years’ experience teaching K-12 Business Education courses to K-12 students. 
Knowledge of current K-12 teaching pedagogies. 
Knowledge of current classroom management strategies. 
Experience teaching and/or mentoring adult students is preferred. 

Master’s degree in education, business, or a related field is required
Must hold or have held a secondary business education teaching license (the license does not have to be current)

The position begins approximately January 22, 2018 and runs both spring and fall academic semesters. Summer work is not required. 
Pay rate commensurate with education and experience.
