MN Legislative Update

Did you know that:

The E-12 Budget bill provides $400 million increase in three major fund areas; the per pupil formula, school facilities, and early learning. Gov. Dayton has vetoed this and is requesting that education receive an increase of $550 million.

There are plans to have special session before July 1st. Governor Dayton is the only one who has the power to call this session, however the House and Senate decides when it finishes.
We are looking for interesting facts or stories about MBEI or members. Email mbeionline@gmail.com to get your story in an upcoming edition of BusEd Bits.
